History Day: Discover Collections brings together content from across the heritage sector all into one place. This website stemmed from our annual in-person History Day event to give year-round access to collections online.
History Day is a free event bringing together students, researchers and anyone with an interest in history with collections professionals from galleries, libraries, archives, museums and research organisations.
In 2025 we have two History Day events:
- History Day North will take place on Tuesday 29 July in Durham
- History Day will take place on Tuesday 4 November in London
