Description
Buckinghamshire Archives is the archives and record office for the historic county of Buckinghamshire. We look after documents that represent the collective memory of Buckinghamshire, its people, and its communities, covering over 800 years.

We also look after unique collections related to the development of the new city of Milton Keynes, and the National Paralympic Heritage Trust, its predecessor organisations, and the Paralympic and Stoke Mandeville Games.

We engage with people around the world across social media platforms and work hard to make our collections as accessible as possible.

Currently, the archive is closed to in person visitors as we upgrade our facilities and move to another site in High Wycombe. This will be open in spring, 2027, and will be a substantial upgrade to the continuous growth of our archive.
