The Greater Manchester Archives and Local Studies Partnership (GMALSP) is a well-established consortium consisting of all 10 local authorities in Greater Manchester. We each operate our own service but come together as GMALSP to share best practice, support each other and develop joint projects where possible. We have recently worked together on the Practical Digital Preservation in Greater Manchester Project where we created travelling digital preservation kits.
