In 1958 C.L.R. James returned to Trinidad and Tobago and became General Secretary of the West Indian Federal Labour Party in the lead-up to independence. He was a supporter of the West Indies Federation. This is his copy of the Federation's newsletter from the day the Federation was dissolved.
