The front of the leaflet, which folds in three, has an image at the centre with the outline of the island of Jamaica with its national flag at its centre. The text in the middle of the island's outline says 'Yours!' and below it the text says: 'Love it, work for it, be proud of it'. On the left fold reasons for being proud of Jamaica are given. On the right fold the Jamaican coat of arms is printed with the text: 'Independence: what it means to us'.
